The individual grades per student are communicated to the ECT Consortium Secretariat and recorded in the EHU academic management system. At the same time, an integrated ECT Consortium transcript will be produced and signed by the JPB Chair and submitted to the involved partner universities for their records.

A Mark Converter Tool (based on an agreed harmonised grading system) is used to translate partner university grades into a joint ECT+ EMJMD grade scale.

Overall performance of students will be evaluated during the JPB meeting at the end of each academic year.

In the case a student fails a course, the respective student can take a re-sit exam according to the local examination regulations of the respective partner university. This re-sit will preferably take place in the partner university where the course was taught, but will also be possible in another partner university (e.g. due to intensive mobility scheme of the students).
